SOFRACO Engineering Systems has been providing innovative, practical and professional services to Defence, Marine, Infrastructure and Commercial sectors since 1988. SOFRACO’s emphasis is on providing a holistic, turn-key solution for the support of capital equipment, spanning pre-acquisition, through-life-support to decommissioning and disposal.
SOFRACO maintains recognised engineering authority levels and qualifications according to the requirements of ABR 6492 Navy Technical Regulations Manual and are familiar with various standards and specifications such as required by Government and Commercial customers, such as the Australian Standards, IMO, SOLAS, DNV, BV, LR & NSCV.

SOFRACO has been carrying out engineering services for the Navy and commercial clients since 1988. Our experienced staff project manage every task using proven methodology based on Australian Standards and the SOFRACO Business Management System. Our engineering services include both production and servicing.
SOFRACO’s workshop has a floor space of approximately 500m2, containing a clean room for hydraulic, pneumatic or HVAC work, a secure storage area, as well as segregated welding, fitting and machining bays.
